Uses
Tiova Inhaler (Tiotropium Bromide) is a medicine which is used regularly as a maintenance therapy, to prevent bronchospasm and breathing difficulties caused by a narrowing of the lungs in those who are suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchitis, emphysema and other related conditions. It works in the lungs by blocking the muscarinic receptors in the airways, which stops the airways from narrowing, and allows them to open up. This can make it easier for patients with lung disease to breathe.

Dosage and Administration
Tiova Inhaler (Tiotropium Bromide) is inserted into the mouth, after which the prescribed dose is delivered orally and inhaled by the patient. Refer to the packaging or ask your doctor for more detailed information and instructions. This medicine is used regularly, usually on a daily basis, and is meant to control and prevent symptoms. It is not rapidly acting, and will not be effective at treating a bronchospasm attack which has already begun. Your doctor may prescribe another medicine for this.
