Uses
Zyprima (Apomorphine Hydrochloride) is a dopamine agonist (a type of medicine) which is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. An erection usually occurs as a result of the blood vessels in the penis filling with blood. This response is caused by sexual stimulation, which causes the brain to send signals to the penis, which trigger an erection.

However, some men are unable to achieve or maintain a penile erection, and as a result, must resort to medical treatment. This drug acts on the dopamine receptors in the brain, and when sexual stimulation occurs after the drug has been taken, it causes an increase in the nerve signals that the brain sends to the penis, which can result in an erection, even in men affected by ED.

Dosage and Administration
Zyprima (Apomorphine Hydrochloride) must be used exactly as directed by the prescribing doctor. Only take the amount your doctor tells you to take. Doctors sometimes instruct patients to take one tablet approximately 20 minutes before intercourse. In addition to this, patients are normally told to allow a period of at least 8 hours in between doses.
