Uses
Advantan Cream (Methylprednisolone Aceponate) is a topical glucocorticoid that is effective if used against a wide range of skin conditions, and is commonly used to treat eczema (atopic dermatitis, endogenous eczema, neurodermatitis and other forms of eczema). After application, it can suppress the symptoms of skin conditions, including pain, pruritis, a burning sensation, lichenification, erythema as well as other symptoms.

Dosage and Administration
Advantan Cream (Methylprednisolone Aceponate) is only to be applied topically to affected skin areas. You will be told by your doctor exactly how and when to apply it, as well as how long you will need to be treated for. In most cases, patients are told by their doctor to apply a thin layer of cream to the skin that is affected, once per day. Doctors generally advise adult patients that treatment should not continue for a period of time exceeding 12 weeks.

Side effects
Side effects may occur in patients using Advantan Cream (Methylprednisolone Aceponate) to treat skin conditions, such as:
