Aurorix (Moclobemide) is an antidepressant medicine, which acts on the central nervous system to treat a wide range of conditions, including depression, social anxiety, and other related conditions. The active ingredient in this medication is a type of reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A (RIMA), and it is believed to work by acting on certain natural chemicals in the brain (known as amines) which are important in controlling emotions and mood.
