Uses
Locoid Crelo (Hydrocortisone Butyrate) is a topical corticosteroid which comes in the form of an emulsion used to treat inflammatory skin disorders. It is considered ideal for treating the scalp and other hairy areas of skin, and is also suitable for use on intertriginous areas of skin (areas of skin that may come into contact with each other, such as skin folds). This potent corticosteroid emulsion is indicated for use in the treatment of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other similar skin conditions. Doctors prescribe it to relieve itchy skin, redness and inflammation that can occur as a result of the conditions listed here.

Dosage and Administration
If your doctor has told you to use Locoid Crelo (Hydrocortisone Butyrate) emulsion (and has advised against using the cream or ointment), clear and concise instructions related to application will be given to you. Adult patients are usually instructed by the doctor providing medical treatment to apply the emulsion 1 to 4 times per day.
