Myocrisin Injection (Sodium Aurothiomalate) is type of salt derived from the precious metal gold. It is used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain and inflammation. It helps to suppress the actions of the immune system which cause the inflammation to occur. This medication belongs to a group of medicines known as disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (or DMARDs).

Dosage and Administration
Myocrisin Injection (Sodium Aurothiomalate) is injected into muscle by a doctor or other healthcare professional. It should never be administered by the patient. Injections are usually prescribed once per week until improvement occurs. Your doctor may reduce your dosage after the condition improves.
